Wow, its Saturday already. Annie and I drove the Corvette to Perry on Friday morning, we left at 5:40 am. The car ran great! I a little embarrassed to say I'm to old to drive it 180 miles ever again. It beat the daylights out of us. The radio wasn't working so Annie and I sang everything from Barney songs to Victory in Jesus. It was a lot of fun for her because we had at least 15 men wave at us! She thought that was neat. Little does she know, I thought it was neat too!
We picked JB up from play school, I took Annie and JB to Michelle's house then I went to visit my friend Nicole for a few hours. We spent the night with daddy. I went to get a trash bag out this morning and he and Margarett had a fit. Apparently he has some kind of issue with his trash bags. He says Margarett pulls one out and lets all of them mess up. I wadded up the one I had in my hand to stick it back in the box and he took it away from me. Guess what I did? Margarett was outside walking and I heard the lawn mower start so I went in the kitchen and got those trash bags out. I think there were maybe eight left in the box so I laid them out on the counter and folded each one really small into a square and stacked them back into the box. I can't wait for daddy to get one out.
We have finally made it home after being in the car for four hours. The state is paving a seven mile stretch through downtown Atlanta. I got off the interstate south of I-20 and managed to drive through downtown to pick up Peachtree Street without assistance from my daddy. I am so proud of myself.
Well its time for me to head downstairs. Ricky and Brance won't be home until tomorrow night so I can get in the bed and read a book all night.

Wacky Wednesday
Wacky Wednesday for sure! I am ready for a padded room and I don't think the full moon has anything to do with. I have finally reached the end of my room and by God's grace I'm still hanging on. I get this way about once a year but I'm positive I have never been this bad or for this long. Grumpy for about three days tops, this in going on ten. I do feel better today but still far from good.
I am planning to go to Perry on Friday. Annie and I are going to drive the Corvette. She doesn't know yet and I won't tell her until its time to leave. I need to find a good cd player with lots of batteries because the radio in the car doesn't pick up anything and makes a rattle sound. I hope to leave by 6 am so that I can breeze through Atlanta without sitting in traffic. I can't get the doors to lock and you know that I am afraid the Bogey man might try to get in the car with us. We won't have much room to take more than a small overnight bag and our pillows.
Brance had a game Monday night, last night Annie had pictures at 5 pm, a softball game at 6 pm and ballet at 6:45 pm. We went through the Taco Bell drive through at 8 pm. As I tried to order for all of us, not knowing what Ricky and Brance would want the lady at the window was very kind and patient. When I finally made a decision and got to the window, she has a grand baby in pre-k with us. I told her I really wasn't retarded but she didn't need to worry they don't let me work directly with children. She just laughed at me.
Tonight we didn't have anything. I gave Beulah a bath. She is staying the weekend with Wes and Heather. I am already lonesome thinking about leaving her for two nights. She will have a lot of fun at Heathers. So much fun I'm worried she will want to stay there and not come back home!
What about American Idol? I am sick of watching it but I can't get away from it. Just a few weeks left!

Lazy Sunday
The same usual Sunday for us. After church Ricky and Matt went to the bow tournament in Gainesville. Annie played at a friends house for a few hours and Brance stayed home. He had Dillon spend the night Friday, so he got to lay around today while Annie played. I had a really nice two hour nap!
On Thursday Annie and I are planning to go to my sisters house while Ricky and Brance are going with Matt and his son Austin to the ASA tournament in Augusta. Annie and I will spend the night with my daddy and visit my sister. She said something about going to a party at her friends house? I am also going to visit my friend Nicole if she isn't too busy for me!
I don't hear my children so I probably should go check on them.

Crazy Saturday
What a day! Brance and Annie had opening day with a parade at 8 am in the pouring rain and 50 degrees outside! Annie wouldn't wear a jacket because she was so excited to wear her new uniform. When I finally caught up with her after the parade she had a beach towel wrapped around her. Her PE teacher, my high school friend Daphney, saw her in the rain and made her wrap up, thanks Daph! Brance had a double header and Annie had a game at 12 pm, because of the rain the games were canceled. Of course we still had to do the parade in the rain!
Ricky brought Dillon home with him last night, that's his brother's youngest at 12 years old. Dillon's older brother Chase, 15 had a double header at the high school. It was easier to get Dylan last night so that everyone could get to the right place this morning on time. While we were picking the kids up after the parade, Chase's games were canceled. Annie and I thought we might go to Perry but I just couldn't make up my mind. Finally I took Annie and my mom to Alpharetta. Annie got a trip to Build-A-Bear for all A's on her report card, thats what she always wants to do. We also ate a a place called the Checkered Parrot. The food was good but the building is smoked in. I didn't think you could do this in Georgia? While I was at the mall I got a call about the Vette. When I called Ricky to see if he would show it to the guy would you believe that he and Brance were gone in it! Ricky's oldest nephew plays baseball at ABAC and came to Truett-McConnell for a double header today and tomorrow. We haven't seen Blake since Christmas so I'm glad Ricky and Brance went to watch him play. I guess we will all go tomorrow unless Ricky has an archery tournament.
The cleaning lady comes on Friday. We put Beulah's crate upstairs in the bonus room on Fridays. Yesterday when we got home, I went up to let Beulah out. She was asleep in the recliner. When Brance put her in the crate, he didn't shut the door. She didn't chew up anything or use the potty anywhere. She was so proud of herself piled up in the chair.
The rain has finally dried up and the sunshine is out! It is beautiful outside and I'm blogging. I almost forgot that I bought a pair of espadrilles today. I can't wait to wear them, I hope I don't break my neck. I hope its warm enough in the morning to wear spring clothes to church.

Wednesday Already!
Where has the week gone? I have been so wrapped up reading my sisters blog comments that I haven't blogged myself. We had a little sleet and snow on Monday but Ricky has continued to work on his hut. Maybe siding and doors tomorrow I'm not real sure when the guys are coming over.
I sold some scrap gold today and made myself a little money. Ricky is spending it faster than I can get it deposited. Everyday is buying something for his hut. The pollen is killing all of us. My eyes look like they have pink eye and I'm taking Zyrtec and Singular everyday without any relieve. I scratch my eyes like Beulah scratches her butt!
We are getting hair cuts tomorrow so I have to color my hair tonight before I go to bed. I have made the kids and Ricky biscuits for two mornings in a row. I bought these frozen Pillsbury cinnamon and icing biscuits that are incredible. Annie took one to her teacher today.
I can't type anything else for scratching my eyes so that's all folks!

The Garage is Coming Along

Ricky's garage is coming along great! I think he is building it large enough to move into, that works for me. He brought some of his workers home on Wednesday and they were able to get a lot done. His friend is over today so they can start putting the tin on the roof. The sooner we can get everything moved out of the garage that is attached to the house, the sooner I can park my car in there. The new garage is big enough for the Galaxie, the Vette, the zero turn lawn mower and the 4-wheelers and motorcycles! Ricky plans to move all the archery stuff that is currently in the garage to the basement. I won't know what to do with a clean, empty garage all to myself.
The weather outside is beautiful today. It's about 65 degrees with a nice breeze. I went to Goody's and Kroger this morning, Ricky and the kids went to Home Depot. I bought enough hotdogs to feed Ricky's friends if they need something to eat while they are helping him work. I sure don't want them tracking all that dirt inside the house but I don't want to serve them either.
I asked Ricky last night how much longer our yard was going to look like a construction zone. There is dirt everywhere. He said he would bring home a piece of equipment and make it all nice again when he finishes his project. He also reminded me that I put him on Bobcat restriction!
One of the friends wives has pulled up so I guess I better go be sociable for a few minutes.

Tooth Trama
Annie went to the dentist today and had to have a tooth pulled. She obviously had a cavaity and the tooth broke, yes it was a baby tooth. She had a gum full of infection and since she is already taking an antibiotic for strep, Dr. Chester was able to drain the infection and pull the tooth. You can already see the big tooth coming in. Because I was tramatized at eight years old with an absese myself, anytime we go to the dentist I should be heavily medicated. It is very difficult for me to give my kids encouraging words when I am trying not to have a total break down myself. Annie did really good and so did I.
Michelle said my music was boring. Well boring it may be, but it keeps me calm. I totally believe in souranding myself with Christian music. I have no doubt that it keeps the devil away. The devil gets after me enough so anytime I can make things difficult for him I do. Christian music is absolutely the best thing I have going for me most of the time. It's in my car, my office and the tanning bed. A lot of the songs I posted we sing or I should say Jeff Wood sings at our church. We had 103 people on Sunday. That's the first time in the new building we broke 100. The exciting thing is a lot of our regular members were not in attendance. How you checked out mu church web site? www.foothillsfellowship.com, there is a link on the side to get there. Go under music and media and watch the videos. We ahve came a long way in a short time. I have alot of things to do so I better get to the laundry room and get busy.

Music Finally
My niece Cydney helped me put music on my blog. She actually did it for me since I called her whining about it. I'm sure she was so willing to help because it allowed her to talk on the telephone and probably gave her a few minutes not to work on homework. She forgets I am the queen of procrastination, thank you Cyd!
CRCT testing this week. Annie has strep throat. Brance with all of his asthma medicine, now Annie. She complained a little over the weekend about a sore throat. I usually don't take them to the doctor unless I think they are dying. I went ahead and took Annie after school yesterday because I didn't want her teacher to have to deal with her all week with testing. When we got to the doctors office she was running a fever. I was shocked when she tested her for strep. The doctor was really sweet to tell Annie she needed to stay home today. I told her she was crazy, she was at school all day already she didn't need to stay out. Besides I sent her in kindergarten the entire two weeks she had the chicken pox and they didn't send her home. Then last summer when she got the chicken pox again, I sent her to the preschool every day. She doesn't need to miss school. Suck it up, I have a mortgage to pay. After getting the chicken pox for my 21st birthday and looking like a person with leprosy, I want to share it with everyone.
Annie the sick child skipped out on ballet tonight so she could go to softball practice. Brance is downstairs sulking because I didn't let him go with her. He got in trouble two times at school last week and didn't tell me. When his teacher emailed me on Friday night, I took baseball away this week. I am so glad my teachers weren't able to email my parents. I could sign those notes home and usually beat the letters to the mailbox. They know about it now so there's no reason to lie about it. I have to work hard to stay one step ahead of Brance and Annie. Unfortunately they are on to me and talk about me when they think I can't hear them. If I ever disappear, they are guilty or possibly Ricky has buried me somewhere that nobody would ever dare to look, maybe under a building he is grading. Ricky is kind enough just to ask me to leave without going to any extra trouble. Ha-Ha!
American Idol tonight! I like the young kid David. I like that he is respectful although the judges comments most likely bring him to tears. He continues to smile with tears in his eyes. And always says thank you. His momma should be proud.
I'm reading this book series about nerds. If the shoe fits...

Rainy Day
When I came home last night Ricky finally had concrete poured for his garage. YIPPY! So he started his morning very early at Home Depot buying lumber to build. My mom, Annie and I went to my grandmas. We picked up my grandmas sister on the way, Magalene who is 89 years old, my mom took both ladies to Duluth to see their little brother Frank in the hospice center where he is preparing to meet his maker. I picked up Papa after several minutes of arguing with my grandma, she wanted him to stay at home alone (he is 87, she is 83) and took him to Adiarsville with me to look at tile. Believe it or not I found some in less than 30 minutes. Papa and Annie waited in the car. Poor Papa, Annie was studying her Social Studies so she read it aloud to him. She was pretty excited to learn that he was 20 years old when he served in WWII and had lived through most of the stuff in her book. Now she thinks hes famous. $1000 and 2100 pounds later we went to Wendy's for lunch. This little old lady in line ahead of us was by herself, she looked at Papa and smiled then asked me was he my daddy. I told her no, he was my grandaddy but now wish I would have told her he was my husband! Noisy old bat!
When I got back to gmas house, I had time to dig in her hamper and wash two loads of clothes. This really frustrates her. I find it funny! Papa is easily entertained and this was entertaining to him watching me do the laundry. Gma feels like she is helpless whenever I try to do something for her. It doesn't matter how many times I tell her I do it because I want too, she still sees it as being helpless and she doesn't want to be a burden to her children and especially not her grandchildren. I am the favorite grandchild. Whenever my sister comes up to see our grandparents she tries to be the favorite. I tell them its okay to let her think shes the favorite because I want her to feel good while shes there, Papa loves it when Michelle and I act silly like this. A few weeks ago, Gma had been in the hospital with a blood clot in her leg. The very next week, Michelle dropped Brian off at the car sale and she and JB went to visit our grandparents. She felt really good thinking she was the favorite, I let her believe it. After doing the laundry, I'm back on top!
Ricky got three of his walls framed up today. He had Dillon, his 12 year old nephew and Brance helping him. They had a lot of fun and got a lot done.
Well I have about 10 pages left in my book, I'm reading a funny series about nerds. It won't be long until I can go to bed. Annie has decided that we are having family fun night every Saturday so she has Alvin and the Chipmunks in the dvd waiting for us to sit down with her.

Eugenia Eloise
What's Eugenia Eloise, she is my Little People Baby that I got for Christmas in 1979. I have decided to try and locate her birth certificate. I argued with some lady over the telephone that tried to tell me that didn't make New Ear's Baby's until 1982. I have one, what does she know. Her copyright tag says 1978, she's pretty old. Once upon a time her name tag was in a jewelry box at Michelle's house in Perry. I have no idea why, that's just the last time I remember seeing it. Hopefully Michelle has some idea where it is because she doesn't throw anything away unlike me who throws everything away that isn't nailed down.
I went to a new dermatologist today. I love him, love, love, love him! He was the sweetest, kindest, most professional dermatologist I have seen. He was also pretty good to look at. I had two places biopsied, found out he is a Republican and was out of the office within 30 minutes. How great is that!
Brance had a Care Ceremony at school, I only went because I thought it was the last one, it isn't there is one left. However, Brance was the only kid in his class that got all of the awards and made the A Team, whatever the A Team is, he made it. I'm not sure about Annie, she was mad that I went to Brance's and not hers so she hasn't shown me any of her awards. She only knew I was there because when you make two Care Ceremonies, you get to have your hand print and a parents hand print put on the wall. Because I don't go to these things, the hand print lady wanted me to do Brance and Annie's print today. It got me out of work for a few minutes. The only mom's that show up are the mom's that don't work outside of the home. They all sit in a little group together and act a little clandish, there wasn't a Morris in the bunch. We Morris' are very clandish.
Well I better go put Eugenia Eloise back up so Beulah doesn't have her for dinner.
