Disney tomorrow!

And I'm a little depressed! How stupid is that? I don't know if its because I'm leaving Brance or because I'm just in some weird funk but I can't even get my bags packed. I'm just sitting on the sofa like tomorrow is never going to come and I have to work at 7 am. Annie isn't going to school at all so I'll come home as soon as I get a few things finished up. I have some deadlines I have to meet before I can take off! Until tomorrow...

Just Three Days...

til I'm at the greastest place on earth! Did you ever notice that if take just two days off from laundry duty it takes four days to make it up? We have been washing clothes since daylight and my livingroom floor is still covered in laundry piles. I let the kids bring their clothes into the livingroom to separate them. It makes Ricky made but it works for the rest of us and its only for the day. I started cleaning out my closet. Ricky worked really hard installing selving units, hanging racks and shoe holders so that I would know what was in there. Missy always tells me to get rid of anything that I haven't worn for two seasons so I started doing that this morning. I found several new shorts and capris that I don't remember buying. Lucky me! I have new shorts to wear next week. A lot of stuff to wash that I hadn't planned on washing but needs to be washed to look nice so that I can just fold it and put it away. I do feel good when my closet looks nice.

Ricky cooked bacon this morning after I cleaned the kitchen. Now the house smells like we got off the morning shift at the Huddle House. YUCK!

Well I've been on the computer long enough that my break is over.

M-I-C-K-E-Y-M-O-U-S-E

Five days and counting! I finally have a night alone! Annie and Cricket went to help clean out grandma's basement that had a little flooding and the boys are gone to baseball practice. I gave Beulah a bath so she won't come anywhere near me. If I walk by her she chomps at my legs and feet. She wants to play so that she can rub her wet body all over me and I'm staying far away.

I got the new EHSSQ cd in the mail yesterday, its a Christmas CD, some classic songs and some silly songs. I have listened to it most of the day. The last new cd I had I let Wayne and Margarett borrow it. They left it in a vehicle and who knows who has it now. I hope they are enjoying it.

Annie had a yelling, screaming break down on me yesterday the first one this bad in several years. I didn't loose my cool with her either. I just told her that I was sorry she was upset but it would be best for her to go to her room. Within five minutes of stomping up the stairs to her room, Brance looked in on her and she was asleep. She didn't move until this morning, 12 hours later. When I went up stairs to wake her she smiled and jumped up to hug me and apologize for last night. In the past, we haven't talked about her fits, this morning she wanted too.

I have a busy weekend and still have to do laundry and pack. Friday night is a jewelry party at Dana's house, I won't buy anything but she will have a lot of good stuff to eat. Saturday is a ladies luncheon and shopping with my church girls, LaDawn and I don't think we have time to shop so we will just meet everyone for lunch then come back home. Saturday night is a girl party at Regina's house. Sunday, our church band, Wrestling Jacob, is playing their premier in Tococca. So it will be a late night for us. As of right now we don't have any games schedule for the weekend, since the boys aren't home from practice that may change.

Well its time for me to make my way to the shower.

Tiggers Don't Jump they BOUNCE!

Annie and I are six days from Disney! This time next week I hope to be around Valdosta eating at the Cracker Barrel. I won't have internet access until I get there and Brance is letting me borrow his camera I just hope I can remember to take a lot of photos to share. Although I'm not sure if I take them I will know how to download them to Annie's laptop. Good things she's going she knows how to do all that technical stuff!

I'm still running...

with endurance the race set before me. What a great weekend we had. Annie and I went to grandma's after school on Friday to spend the night. We got there a few minutes after 4 pm and she was waiting to put supper on the table. My favorite of course! Steak and gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, tomatoes and cucumbers, and cornbread. I ate twice before I went to bed. Annie slept with grandma. We are pretty sure that Annie is the only great grand child to sleep with grandma in her bed, not the front bedroom. I think it was as much a treat for grandma as it was for Annie. We had planned to do a little shopping on Saturday morning but it was raining to much for gma to get out. Annie and I came home around 12 pm for Brance's ballgame but it was canceled. Annie went to a spend the night party and Ricky and Brance went to the grocery store with me. It sure was nice for someone else to push the buggy unload the buggy and load the car. I could get used to that.

Yesterday it rained all day so we just laid around the house doing absolutley nothing. I really enjoyed it. Annie and I are taking mom to Disney next Wednesday. Brance offered his camera to me because it is nicer than mine. I just home I can download photos to the laptop while I'm there.

I have a lot of housework to do this week to get us ready to go.

I'm trying to keep up with my sister, I have cooked dinner three nights in a row. Thankfully we have enough left over tonight for tomorrow.

I'm still encouraged about my project, keep praying for us. The new Ernie Haase and Signature Sound Christmas CD that I ordered shipped today. I don't love Christmas music in September but I cannot wait to listen to it!

let us run with endurance the rest that is set before us

This is my new favorite bible verse, its Hebrews 12 or 13? I have it on my desk if you really want to know. We have had a monsoon come through town this week. So much ran, not enough sunshine. Brance hasn't practiced at all this week, he and Ricky have been home every night driving Annie and I crazy. I've been between a rock and a hard place and have begun to get myself out. Annie and I are going to go spend the night with grandma tomorrow night. Brance has two baseball games on Saturday and two on Sunday. So that's our weekend all wrapped up! We will leave grandma's Saturday morning, stop by the grocery store, come home to go to town for ball. His game Saturday is in Dahlonega and the game on Sunday is in Lula.

I have been so sleepy for the last two days that I can barely function to get my work done. I have already eaten and bathed and think I'm going nighty nighty when I get off the computer. I'm in Annie's room while she shows me what she is taking with her tomorrow. I'm hoping grandma wants to cook steak and gravy for me but I'm not asking. Annie called her to tell her we were coming and I didn't even talk to her. I'm sure she will want to go to Captain D's for supper! Yummy! Nothing like greasy fish for a girl who doesn't like fish or grease.

As I continue to run with endurance the rest set before me, I still want you to pray for me everyday. I'm getting to a place with my business deal that's pretty critical.

18 Days to Disney

And I have so much to do. Our week has been a little wild. We have continued to keep the kitchen and the living room spotless. I haven't worked much in my bedroom and closet but feel the desire to get it done soon. Missy says to get rid of everything I haven't worn in two seasons because I won't wear it again ever. I'm pretty sure she is right as most things from two seasons ago don't fit! My friend Jaime's 10 year old son was diagnosed with diabetes this week. They had a really bad scare with him and he was admitted to Scottish Rite for three days. He came home last night, I haven't really talked to Jaime in detail to find out the plan for him but I know he is going to be giving himself many shots daily. Jaime and the sons dad are divorced and they share custody so this is going to be very hard on her as a mother when her son isn't with her. Please keep this family in your prayers.

On a more positive note, Brilyn, Marc and Lynn's grandbaby is showing signs of improvement. After two chemo treatments her tumor is gone! PTL! She will still receive two more treatments anyway.

Brance is continuing to practice four nights a week. Ricky is so wonderful! He goes to work before we leave in the mornings then he runs in the door to get Brance and they turn around and leave again. Most nights Ricky doesn't get to eat supper until after 9 pm when they get home. He's eat good this week because my momma cooked two nights.

My project is in a waiting phase. God is in control. Once this phase is over, my life will never be the same again. I think I run crazy now, I cannot imagine what its going to be like this time next year. I'm enjoying what I'm now considering some down time. I really think it will all cut loose in about two weeks as I get ready to head to Disney where I can't get anything done for a few days.

Brance's games start next week, Saturday and Sunday, then every Sunday afternoon. This is our last free Saturday and I need to go to my grandma's house. I haven't been to a flea market all summer long.

I've typed a little randomly so I don't know if what I've said even makes any sence.

Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us...

Day 3 of House Cleaning

It not that my house was gross and we don't ever clean, I've just decided to clean out everything. Yesterday I finished the kitchen that I started early in the week and finished the living room. I took built in book shelf apart and moved the shelves around and packed up a lot of the books that I had out. I put the rest in a box for Goodwill, my favorite store. I've started taking a bag or two or three to Goodwill everytime I got to my grandma's. We have such an abundance of stuff we don't use, I have made the kids clean out also and elimate some of this stuff we don't ever use. So far we are doing really good and Ricky really likes it! We had some friends come over last night for the ballgame. The game was so bad we grilled and played outside for most of the time.

Annie went to a spend the night party, I picked her up after church and the dad told me they didn't go to sleep until sometime after 4 am. She and Brance have both been asleep over two hours on the sofas. YEAH me! Ricky and a group of guys went to the archery tournament.

I got to take a nap also. No house cleaning for me today. I have been doing laundry but that's not really cleaning.

Brance is still playing ball three or four nights a week. Annie and i just hang out on the these nights. I let her get in my bed and read until Ricky moves her went he gets ready for bed.

Well I guess that's about all I have time for now. I need to attempt to cook something for supper.

I need to get off the computer...

I have so much to do and I can't get off the computer to get my stuff done! I started cleaning my kitchen when I got home today. You know the counter tops, the table, the desk and the cabinet above the desk. I'm positive some of that stuff in the cabinet has been there since we moved in 11 years ago. Two bags of trash later, I don't know that it looks any better but I sure feel better about the way it looks. Ricky walked in the kitchen and said "I thought you cleaned the kitchen?" How encouraging it that? I've decided that I can either exercise for an hour or I can clean in my house so today I cleaned. I hate to do both so maybe I'll rotate my my cleaning/exercising on a daily basis. Jaime's kids are gone to their dad's for a few days and she asked me to play tennis, but Brance has ball practice and I don't like Annie to be out so late. I like all of us to be home and ready for bed early. I didn't sleep so good last night and I have some kind of sharp pain in my neck through my back so hopefully I can sleep better tonight. I sure love my husband but he is usually pretty restless at night and it disrupts my sleeping.

Annie has been working in her room since 4 pm, she just stuck her head out the door to tell me she should be finished in about 45 minutes. I'm not sure what she is doing and know her well enough to know I don't need to ask. She is really excited because she finally has pants to wear. Some of you know her body is very hard to buy clothes for. She is slim but stout, very muscular built. It is impossible to find pants to find her. Friday night we tried a girls 14/16 on and she couldn't get it up her thighs. She gets really upset thinking she is fat or the pants would fit. She doesn't have an ounce of fat on her body. We went over to the junior/misses dept and tried a pair of size 0 kacki slacks, they fit perfect! We had to get about 8 inches cut of the bottom but the waist and legs are perfect and she is so excited. Heather went by the Old Navy in Gainesville and picked up another pair of the slacks in a different color. We got two pair hemmed yesterday and I'll take the other pair in a few weeks, Mrs. Woody that sews them is in Ireland for two weeks. Annie loves to dress preppy. She wears Bass Weejuns on the three days she doesn't have PE and tennis shoes for PE. Anyway, I paid a lot of money for these Weejuns but that's the only shoes she has every really asked for. She watched the movie Nancy Drew, she wears Weejuns and skirts so now Annie wants to dress like that every day with a big hair bow, the bigger the bow, the better. She is the only one at her school that dresses like a private school girl. I'll try to download some pictures of her.

Well that's about all for now. My project is still moving, I'm waiting on one thing. Then is should be smooth sailing. Keep praying!
