WOW! I have four days off I feel like I'm on vacation. Ricky had planned to go to Perry and now he isn't sure. I was liking the idea of being home all weekend without the family. Tomorrow we are going to Peggy's for Thanksgiving. Michelle and I are trying to decide if we want to work in grandma's yard first but if we get there early I can get the boy that lives next door to do all the yard work for $30 and I won't have to do anything. I payed him a few weeks ago to get all the leaves up and told him anytime he saw my car in the driveway to come over because I would have work for him to do. Grandma didn't like me getting him to do the work but why does that really matter? I pay it out of my pocket and I don't expect her to give me one dime. Sometimes she's just to proud I guess.
Michelle doesn't think any of her children are coming with her tomorrow. That would be great! We could go to KMart and Garden Ridge alone. I'm sure we haven't been alone in about 15 years. I left work at 12 today. We are all getting a hair cut at 3:30 pm. I upgraded my phone for the first time in four years. The new phone looks really neat but I don't even know how to dial a number on it. I'm going to have to let Brance get a hold of it and show me how to work it.
Once again I'm in the bonus room and it is very cold up here. I have time to watch a few minutes of Shepard Smith before we leave for the hair shop.

I'm a Blog Slacker...
I don't really have anything to blog about. Our week has been busy and we have all had a fall cold. Several trips to the doctor Brance, Annie and I are all taking Zyrtec and Singular everyday, Brance also has an antibiotic. We have boy scouts tomorrow and nothing else all week. We are going to Peggy's on Thursday for lunch and to see Papa. I am hoping the grand kids will help me clean up grandma's yard. If we can fit the yard work in between the annual Thanksgiving Day shopping at KMart I will think I've had the best day ever. I would like to go to Garden Ridge and Anna's Linen's but that is probably pushing Ricky too far.
I have to stop typing now because I am in the bonus room and the heat isn't on up here. I'm sure its below freezing because my hands are numb!

To Market To Market to Buy A Fat Pig...
We have all the pig we can handle! Brance killed a pig last Saturday so we have cooked, dehydrated, jerkyed you name it, we have done it this week! My house smells like the huddle house with a little added spice. Last night when I opened the door to let Beulah out a large buck was standing on the hill watching me. They really give me the creeps! I told Ricky the buck was out there but he didn't move quick enough to see it before it started running. Then he asks me all kinds of questions about it for thirty minutes. Thursday night Annie had a program at school on the way home it was so foggy I couldn't see anything. I did see a deer on the side of the road so I stopped before it could hit us. Annie saw it running and started screaming at me not to hit it. I didn't want to hit it but I wasn't going to swerve to miss it either. She finally quit screaming and told me I was trying to kill it. She said it was only trying to get home to its deer family and I was trying to run over it. Where the heck does she come up with this stuff? I'm so tired of seeing deer on the side of the road dead, they are in my driveway when I let the dog out 99% of the time and it scares me when I walk out and they are standing there. I wish they would increase deer hunting season and the number you can kill.
We have had a long, busy week. Darlene and I met with an attorney on Tuesday about an unemployment dispute with a past employee. After one appeal he has now taking the case over. The girl left willingly for maternity leave and decided not to come back, we didn't lay her off. Would you believe she qualifies to draw unemployment? up to $3200. She only worked for us for eight months. This isn't Republican economics, this is just crap with our government.
Brance and Annie have decided that they want three presents for Christmas. They say that Jesus only had three gifts so that's fine with them. YIPPY! Do you know how easy this will be for me. Three gifts, plus one Santa present. At my house Santa only brings one thing. He isn't getting the credit for everything else. I have bought things all year long for the three little boys, JB, Hayden and Walker when I see a really good deal. Now I have Jacob to add and believe it or not I actually have a few things for him too! I tried to use my debit card yesterday and it was declined. That happens frequently during the holidays. I have money in the bank and it is really embarressing because I don't carry a check book or much cash. Ricky told me to cash out some money from savings to use for the items I plan to buy in the next few weeks. At least I won't get cut off with my debit card. My bank has a daily limit on debit cards as well as daily transaction limits. In other words if it had abnormal activity, they place a hold on it. I guess that's a good thing for me, except I don't keep much money in my checking account. We only put in checking what we need and anything else goes to other accounts that are not linked to my checking account. A theif wouldn't get too far with my checking account or my debit card number.
Well I need to get busy. Our house looks like a garbage truck broke down in the living room. I have spent two hours this week working in the bonus room trying to seperate trash from donation items. It still looks pretty bad but I can see a difference.

Share the Wealth
Well I'm glad the election is over, but I'm not glad about the results! However I am not standing around with my hand out waiting for my share of the wealth. Ricky and I am very happy with what we have worked for, however we are middle class so Obama Mama is going to take care of us! Ha-Ha! Unfortunately this election has nothing to do with good or bad, Democrats or Republicans it has become all about RACE. When I saw those people in Atlanta shouting in the streets last night I am embarrassed that we allow such trash to go around. I watched plenty of people on tv being interviewed about their voting decisions because they wanted a "black" president. Now how is race not a factor? I don't like him because he doesn't pledge our American Flag, not because he is black or politically correct African-American, this is my blog I can say black. Just when I thought the ads were over, Saxby and Jim Martin are going to have a run off so I have three more weeks of slander to listen too.
We have AWANA tonight. I have four boxes of chips, 72 packs in each box. The kids really like chips. One of our parents donated them. She works for a packing company that packs supplies for inmates. When they have items left over, she bring them to me. All four boxes! WOW!
How bout Palin in 2013?

Game Day!
I don't know whether to pull out the red and black or hide under the bed until the fight is over! Actually I did wear red and black to a morning wedding already today. We had planned all week to take Beulah and the kids to the feed store for pictures with Santa until Annie's constant fussing about everything caused me to change my mind. Ricky took the kids in the Galaxie to a car show. Our praise band from church is playing at a fall festival this evening at 5:30 pm. I'm hoping the game will be worth leaving the house in order to go to the "concert".
I finally slept decent last night after no sleep for two days. I actually slept about five hours! That is HUGE for me.
Do you have ladybugs? They have taken over our house. They have been hiding since the cold snap. Today it has warmed up a little and the ladybugs are all over the place. You cannot go or out of the house without getting them all over you.
I don't really have anything good to talk about. My house is messy, the game comes on in just a few minutes so why would I start working in the house now. My car is out of the shop I have been driving Rickys truck the last few days.
Darlene and I went to the Merchandise Mart on Thursday. I had so much fun and spent too much money. We were there about eight hours. I am still wiped out.
We had trunk or treat at the church last night. We didn't have a lot of cars to trunk, but a lot of folks in lawn chairs giving out candy and a lot of treaters! Some time during the event a car parked on the side of the road was side swiped. We heard the car hit, of course the car that hit it kept on going.
Well that's enough!
