So I spent Monday and Tuesday in court with my friend. Everything went the way she wanted although we didn't leave court until 8 pm on Tuesday night and we were escorted to our cars! A little scary but glad for it. I did work until 12 on Tuesday before I left for court.
I took off Wednesday and Thursday. Darlene and I spent both days shopping at the mart downtown Atlanta. We spent the night so it was nice. I slept so good without my family and Beulah.
I did work all day Friday. I left at 2:30 pm for my Friday night at grandma's house. She is much stronger than last week, but still confused on a lot of things. She doesn't know numbers or names very well. She did call me Melissa the entire time and she didn't do that last week. Annie stayed with my mom on Friday so Ricky and Brance had the house to themselves. Grandma is going back to the doctor this week. She wants to stay home alone but she can't yet. She don't know how to call for help if something happens. I pray that she will get over this quicker than she has been.
I took the kids to Dana's tonight for Halloween. Dana gave out candy while I took the kids trick or treating. I loved it! Living in a neighborhood as a child, I hate that my kids miss those little things like Halloween. We used to go around the neighborhood alone, no adult supervision, then I would come home and watch Halloween the movie until all hours of the night. It didn't matter how many times I watched it and knew what was going to happen, it scared me.
Speaking of things that scare me... I can't tell you how many times I have opened the back door to take Beulah out when deer are standing in the yard and driveway looking at me. Everytime I open the door, knowing they are most likely going to be standing there, it scares me! Beulah looks at them like they are invading her space and walks back inside. I always worry she will take off chasing them and not come back but they run really fast and I think it scares her a little bit.
I'm still working on my project. Slowly but surely I am moving in the right direction.

I'm in for a LONG WEEK!
I spent the afternoon in the attorneys office with my friend. She goes to court on Monday and I got supeonaed! I was a little insulted at the $34.77 check I got for my expenses. Please pray for her. She just needs peace. All the facts are in place and the devil sure likes to bother her. I wish I could fix it for her.
Yesterday I spent the entire day at Gold Rush with Heather. She did a hairbow both and I agreed to sit with her, since I went to the hospital on Saturday I stayed with Heather yesterday. It was a lot of fun for me just to sit and watch people all day. Annie did all the work and I just got to sit. It was cold but not miserable. I wouldn't have stayed if I were miserable.
Of course I didn't do anything in the house all weekend so tonight I'm trying to do some laundry. This is the last week that Brance has baseball so next week I'll have to cook dinner most nights with everyone home at a normal time, they will expect to eat something good. I enjoy cooking if everyone is here to eat.
My grandma is out of the hospital. She was too healthy to stay in the hospital but not strong enough to be alone so she is getting a lot of physical therapy. I plan to go spend the night on Friday and do my part. Plus I enjoy getting to spend the time with her.
Maybe, just maybe my sister will meet me at her house. I'm sure its just wishful thinking on my part.

Gold Rush Weekend, YUCK!
Not being a native of Lumpkin County, I don't enjoy the Gold Rush Festival! Lots of arts and crafts, the entire town is shut down and blocked off you can't get anywhere. I did go some when we lived at the funeral home because it wasn't any effort for me to walk down the driveway into town. The funeral home parking lot is blocked now or I would still park there. The college always has the biggest alumni gathering this weekend. The kids enjoy going so I'm not sure if we will take them or not. The high today was only 63 and the high tomorrow is expected to be somewhere around 52 degrees. That's just too cold for me.
My grandma is in the hospital. Mom was there all day Wednesday and Peggy and Nell have been there all day yesterday and today. I'll get up and go early in the morning, then mom will go down later in the day and stay late. That gives my aunts a little bit of a break and mom can get some things done before she works on Sunday. Annie was going to spend the night at mom's house but she continued to run her mouth to me so I'm not letting her go. She was so disrespectful and Disney I just can't tolerate it anymore. I'm postive she just has too much estrogen.
We are watching a movie preview for Where the Wild Things Are, I really would like to see it.
If your coming up for Gold Rush, let me know, I might meet you in town, of course it will have to warm up first.

All this aggravation ain't satisfactioning me!
What a day! It started out at 8:30 am when I was served with a supeona. One of our employees and my very good friend is going to court in two weeks in a custody battle with the ex-husband. The supeona didn't upset me, it was the attached $34.77 check. Apparently they will pay my mileage into Hall County, then just $25 per day that I'm in court. Hello, I make a lot more money than that. Some court system we have, I can't do a dang thing about it! I show up or I get a police escort. I went to see my favorite dermatologist in Jasper today. He took a mole of the off the back my leg that I pick out constantly, he told me to leave it alone until it heals. When I called work to let Heather know I was on my way back, crazy ex-husband's girlfriend had sent me a letter and Heather was laughing about it. Can you sue someone for ignorance? or just harrasment? First the supeona, then the letter, what the heck? As if I don't have enough to do. I said they were going to cause me to say ugly words, much uglier than my daddy would want to hear out of my mouth. All I can say is before this is over its going to get ugly and this ain't prettyville!
I kinda feel crappy today. My head is swimmy and my nose is dry. I feel a cold coming on. Hopefully my daily Zyrtec, Singular and daily vitamin (that my sister sent to me, Thanks Michelle), is going to prevent a cold. I've taken allergy medicine for so long I'm probably immune to it. Mom was going to cook chicken and dumplings and I really wanted them but didn't feel like eating, but she just called and said she didn't feel good either so we are having chicken and dumplings tonight.
Enough complaining. I am blessed. So blessed. I thank God everyday for the things I have and the things He created. What do people do that don't have Jesus Christ in their life? I'm so glad I don't know what that's like. I'm still working on my deal. I have an entire package to mail off tomorrow! Keep asking for God's will.

Where Did the Weekend Go?
I really need to get some rest! Since getting home from Disney I cannot get caught up on anything. I feel so sleepy but can't stop long enough for a nap. Friday night I went to the grocery store, Saturday I met a childhood friend for lunch, you know childhood friends are the best! After church today we went to Waters Mill for lunch, Annie sat with other kids her age and they sat very well and behaved the entire time. I got to sit with our Pastor, his wife another adult couple and my friend Jaime. It took a while to get our food but I enjoyed the time with my church family and once my food came it was great! Brance had two games this afternoon and we have finally gotten back home. I can't say that I have gotten anything done in the house, I did unpack my suitcase but I haven't take it back upstairs yet.
The kids are out of school tomorrow so I guess they will drive me crazy at the preschool. Ricky and I are watching the end of the race and enjoying a little down time. I'll get my bath and head to bed.

Day 2 of 4
I can't believe the day is almost over. We spent it at Epcot today. I saw this new Kim Possible kiosk and stupid me just had to ask what it was. So the attendant scanned my room key and the hell began! Annie had to go to Norway to check in. She picked up a cell phone that was a direct connect to Wade from Kim Possible. We spent 45 minutes in Norway looking for clues to save the country from the villian trying to take over. This isn't Scooby Doo clues, Kim Possible is serious about looking for clues. So the cell phone is a "communicator transmitter" and it continuously gives you new directions. There were about 10 commands in Norway before Annie tracked the villian, she even had to say secret code words to the Norway workers to unlock more clues. Finally she solved the crime. Then the stupid phone, communicator tranmitter, gave her an option for six more countries. So off to Mexico we went. After catching four villians and saving four countries from total ruin I convinced her to return the phone and we would go back on Sunday to find the other three. What the heck was I thinking?
We left the park and went to eat at Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner, then on to Downtown Disney for a little shopping. On the bus ride back to the room, Annie asked about solving the rest of those crimes at Epcot. I'm going to dream about Kim Possible and it ain't gonna be pretty!
The nice thing about Annie is she is always ready for bed no later than 9 pm so it makes this trip very pleasant for mom and I.
Well I need to pick up our dirty laundry from today.

Day 1 of 4
So far, so great! A record low for Orlando this morning of 58 degrees. It was pretty chilly. It finally got up to 80 degrees sometime after lunch. We went to the Magic Kingdom, not many folks out at 8 am and the ones that were, were dressed like Eskimos in long sleeves and coats. The cast worker on one of the rides had on a winter coat and he was from Ontario, I can't believe he was cold.
I had the best idea today. Wednesday, I borrowed a large pen from one of the pre-k classes for Annie to use for character autographs, characters like big writing pens. So after we got a few autographs Annie and I decided to take a lot of photos with just the pen. After she gets her picture made with a character, we ask the character to hold the pen and take their picture. I'm going to make a book from snapfish of the traveling pen and present it to the class. They will be so excited! Of course Heather will most likely have to do it but at least it will be fun.
Annie's taking a nap so I have a few minutes of free time.
