Where should I begin...

Heather and I had this bright idea to have a yard sale at the preschool, I had this idea to make it a consignment sale, Heather loved it and made a big deal out of it. So all this week Heather has taken in stuff, organized it and we worked late last night getting ready for today. I think we had about 20 people bring items, and items they brought! DCD kept 30% and gave them 70%, we ended up making about $250, I only made a $100 and I sold really good stuff cheap, 13 Abercrombie shirts for $2 and a few Ralph Lauren that didn't sell. Anyway after working last and all day for $100 it just isn't worth it. I like doing ebay but Ricky said I need to just donate my stuff or give it away but I don't need to waste anymore of my time gathering and sorting and hauling not to make any money. With that said, between the dump and the Goodwill I have eliminated a lot of stuff in my house although I still have a long way to go. If I could just get myself organized and everything put up and away I know that I could stay on top of it. I told Michelle if she would come to spend a few nights with me I would let her color my hair and clean my house. She just laughed. I was being serious. At least I would tell her how much I appreciate her and let her take a bath in my big bathtub. Does that sound inviting? Anyone else interested?

Annie had her last regular season ball game today. I worked so Ricky and my mom went. Annie is really proud of herself for making a double play on her own so Ricky took her to the Dairy Queen. When we were kids, I can remember going to the Dairy Queen in Kennesaw after Michael's ball games. I'm glad she is getting to go. Of course they drove the Galaxie.

I start my tennis league this week. I have one match a week for six weeks. Annie starts All Stars on Tuesday so I think I can drop her at practice and go to the tennis courts. We have an incredible park and rec facility, the tennis courts are on top of the hill and the softball fields are below, the baseball fields are across the creek, we have plenty of parking. It makes playing ball really nice. They even have a potty by the tennis court.

Ricky is taking me to Target tonight or tomorrow to buy a tennis skirt so that I look officially. I may not play very well but at least I can look good.

We also start church softball practice tomorrow at 2 pm, the first game is Tuesday night. School is finally over and we still have something planned every night of the week.

Let's see, where do I start

Well first off I feel pretty yucky today and yesterday. We did go to church but then I laid around all day. My head and stomach hurt kind of like a migrane but not that severe. The thought of food makes me gag which probably is a good thing for a day or two. Ricky has taken both kids to park and rec for a parade and a closing ceremony since the opening day things were rained out. It is rainy today so we will see what happens.

Some of you know this about me and some don't but for years, like since I was 5 years old, have had a business idea in my mind, two plans actually but one that I truly believe can and will happen. I have talked in depth to Ricky and he just listens but doesn't really ever say anything. I have finally decided that it is time to see if it can happen. Ricky and I talked about it this morning and he looked at me and said I will support any business venture you have even if it means relocating our entire family. That's all I needed to hear. I am ready to put make my dream into a reality. So as my friends and family please pray for God's will. If this can work it will and God will make the path easy for me. I am not quick to give up so I would have to have many doors slammed in my face to stop trying to make it happen. Again, I am simply asking for God's will and nothing else. When I feel like I can talk about it with all of you I will, in the meantime, please say a prayer for me. This does not have anything to do with the childcare industry.

I have attempted to pick up in the house today but have spent more time online researching my project. I'm sure Ricky is tired of my notes lying around with scribble scrabble everywhere.

I talked to the All Star coach for Annie last night. She will practice the entire month of June for one big All Star tournament June 26. This will end the weekend before she leaves for church camp. Therefore we are going to let her go. I like both coaches and trust them with Annie so I would be able to drop her off at practice and go back to get her. After ball season and church camp we will only have a few weeks of summer left. Today we have 12 weeks. I weird about my schedule and needing to know what is happening the next day. Now that pre-k has ended, I will be like a crazy woman trying to get pre-k closed out for the current school year and getting pre-k started for the next school year. I spend my entire summer doing this. We have applied for a fourth pre-k classroom. Hopefully we will hear something positive this week.

Keep me in your prayers.

Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord...

I have too much to do...

So I sit on the sofa and blog instead of working in the house! Last night was our pre-k end of the year program. After the program, Darlene and I took the pre-k teachers to Longhorns, it was really nice but today I am sleepy. When I got home at 11 pm last night everyone was asleep until I walked in bedroom Ricky started talking. He literally talked me to sleep! The last time I looked at the clock it was 11:46 pm and he was still talking! Brance started the end of the season baseball tournament last night. While I was at the pre-k program, he played two games, won one, lost one. So when I got home last night Ricky gave me a play by play for both games. He won at 9 am today and lost the 11 am game. His coach took the team to Dairy Queen for a milk shake. Brance's team had a great season.

Annie has a double header on Tuesday night. Then it should be over. She was picked for All Stars but Ricky and I are not sure if we want to do that this year. Her league is 10 and under and its the first league where they start live pitch. 12 and under is pretty exciting but 10 and under is just boring. Most of the girls don't pitch very well so the majority of the players walk. It is so boring that I cannot stand sitting through it. Ricky feels the same way. I understand All Stars will take up the majority of the summer which would knock her out of church camp, tennis lessons and a week at Granddaddy's house, and they travel North Ga! YUCK! Softball is Michelle's thing, not mine.

The kids both have friends over, Ricky has two archery friends over and I'm sitting on the sofa thinking about all the stuff I should be doing. At some time today I must grocery shop, I know that folks at the Food Lion are looking for me.

Its late but I'm blogging before bed

Let see, I haven't really talked to Michelle today so I'll blog so that she knows what is happening with us. Ballgames on Monday, practice on Tuesday but I did get to play tennis for about an hour. Wednesday, we went to Ricky's grandma's house, that died last week, to cut the grass and visit with his uncle, tonight Brance had a game at 7:30 pm, Brance's team wasn't doing very good, finally tied it up in the 4th inning and went into two extra innings to win by one, they made a double play that was unreal. They start tournaments tomorrow. If they can play like they did tonight they will make a clean sweep though the ball park. Have I told you about the ball park? We have this new gazillion dollar complex that is incredible, softball fields, baseball fields, soccor fields, and eight tennis courts. Dog trails and walking trails, it is so nice. The baseball field Brance plays on is in the bottom of the valley and on the creek, most nights I freeze to death but its so worth it.

Tomorrow is the last day of pre-k, public school still has one more week. I am a routine girl so I will be crazy for the next 12 weeks until pre-k begins again. Next week we will only have regular tuition kids, then summer camp begins on June 1st.

Brance had his honors day program today. He got an award for having "A" Honor Roll all year. Can you believe that, he has had all A's all year. Annie has too, she doesn't have an honors program in elementary school. She has a CARE ceremony at the end of next week. I am so proud of both of them for their grades. I work hard to stay on top of that.

Well it is really past my bedtime and I am finding myself not able to type very well. We have a full weekend ahead so maybe I can catch up sometime in the next 48 hours.

Is it time for bed yet?

We've had a fun weekend, I didn't fuss at Ricky one time! We both took off Friday and kept the kids out of school and went to Pigeon Forge for the weekend. Yes, I go about every five weeks but we usually can get Ricky to go with us at least once. Friday night we went to the Smokies ball game. It rained the enitre time, it was rain delayed for an hour then sprinkled the rest of the time, it was so cold that we had to buy the kids a jacket before going to the game. Of course I always have a jacket with me but I cannot convince my family members to ever bring one. We left after the eighth inning and it was already 11:30 pm. The Smokies were getting beat and the game wasn't very good. We did sleep until 8 am Saturday so that was a big deal for us.

Yesterday we went to a swap meet and it was all Chevrolets, YUCK! We visited two big flea markets, Annie complained the entire time and she didn't tell me Jesus was going to punish me, she does a little better when Ricky is with us. We went back to our room and Ricky took them swimming for a little while, while I played on facebook. We went to a show last night Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Theater. The show as American Idle, it was about three hours with a meal included. Ricky got picked for a judge so that was neat. You are given a puzzle sheet to work before the show to try to solve the mystery. When the show is almost over you write your clues on the back with your idea to who done it, they then tell you who done it and draw one sheet for a final winner, guess what? It was me! They gave me a tram ticket to Ober Gatlinburg and I gave it to the people sitting next to us. It was still exciting for all of us.

We have finally made it home and I'm a little tired of being cooped up with the family. I think I will go take a bath and that will give me a few minutes of peace and quite.

Ricky loved the condo we stayed in this time. I did price the units as we were leaving. Wow, there are high, I can buy a cabin cheaper. One day I'm going to come home with a second home up there.

Long day and I'm tired...

Worked all day then went to the funeral home, you know that's not my cup of tea. Ricky still isn't home and he has been there since 1 pm, I know he is worn out. Annie and I only went for two hours.

We have let two employees go in two days. I hate doing that but business is business and if I don't take of these things, Heather is going to leave me and never come back. I am taking off most of tomorrow to be with Ricky for the funeral and Ricky and I are both taking off Friday to spend the day with the kids. We are keeping them out of school also. I don't know what we are going to do but something as a family. This should count for our once a year family outing!

I'm not doing a thing today..

I did take Beulah to the vet at 8 am for shots and a yearly check up, she got so excited going to the vet that she has slept since we got home. Ricky and Brance left at 7:30 am for an archery shoot in Banks Co, when they left the house, Brance and Austin were in the 3rd row, Matt, Austin's dad and Tate were in the second row and Ricky driving up front by himself. The boys put the playstation in the car so all the guys were going to play while Ricky drove. We bought the Excursion for Ricky last Friday, I think he likes it better than any truck he has owned. We still haven't sold his truck, its at the dealership and hopefully today will be the day. It was nice to have my own Expedition in the driveway and not gone with Ricky. Its been an entire week that he hasn't been in my car! If you don't know, Ricky also has a reason to drive my car and I get stuck with his truck, so we bought an Excursion for him and are trying to sell his truck! Everybody is happy.

I'm also the Wayne Morris Ford employee of the month, in case you wanted to know. On Thursday, Ricky's uncle bought a car from daddy standing in our garage while looking at cars on the laptop and me talking to daddy on the phone. We had a car picked out, price agreed upon and the deal wrapped up in less than 5 minutes. I'm sure that's a first in WMF history! We delivered the car all the way from Perry to Dahlonega in less than 24 hours, YEAH ME!

Annie and I had a nice two hour nap today. I really have to get off the computer and get to work in my house before Ricky gets home and sees that I haven't done anything.

Who's the Stalker Chick...

That commented on my blog but didn't leave her name? This is my blog and your a hussy!

Annie is a straight A plus some student, one time last year she got a B and had a total break down for several days until she could get the grade up, so this week she got her report card and had a B. She had a 89 in reading and a 101 in spelling, so she is very angry and says to me that she doesn't know why her teacher can't take one point from the 101 grade and put it on the 89 grade, a 100 and a 90 would be so much better. She is so my child and I'm sure she is destined to be an attorney although she dreams of Vet school and taking over Dr. Orton's practice.

Fun day today I went to cash and carry at the mart. I bought a few things but the spring show wasn't have the size of the fall show so I was a little disappointed.

My new hobby is playing tennis with some of my girlfriends. Last night I played for more than a hour and a half and only stopped long enough to get a drink of water and pick up some tennis balls. So I rewarded myself today with two snack bags of Cheeze Its and half of a Coke. Life is good! I feel like a recovering alcoholic that has fell of the wagon a little disappointed in myself but I would do it all over again. Since I'm off the wagon for the rest of the night I think I'll have some chocolate ice cream too! I would like to stay up to watch American Idol but I don't think I can stay awake that long. I got up about 4 this morning, after the market we went to church and now I'm having a hard time trying to settle down.

Ricky and Brance are watching a stupid movie from 1980 about the Village People, YMCA, I don't even want to go in the living room so I'm hiding from them in the bedroom, they haven't looked for me yet!

Friday night with EHSSQ

Annie with Ryan, Ernie her favorite, Timmy and Doug my favorite and then just me actually looking like something! The girls at work straightened my hair so I thought you would want to see what it looks like. I don't like to take the time to do anything with my hair as anyone that knows me understands. Also when I straighten it, my arms get tired! Annie and I took mom and Heather to Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta to see Ernie Haase and Signature Sound, grandma and Peggy met us there. The show was good, I think Ernie talked a lot more than usual and they didn't sing Get Away Jordan which Annie really likes but they did sing some new things so it was all good. Annie got to talk to all the guys and they were all very kind to us, I was happy because Doug remembered us from Chattanooga last year and knew that Annie was 9, I'm sure it was a good guess I think he has a daughter about the same age but it made Annie feel good anyway. Its funny because I remember seeing The Hemphill's when I was really little and thinking Trent was the cutest thing ever and now he is like 50ish and I think an old man, he is still handsome though. That's probably what Annie will think of Signature Sound when she's in her 30's.
Yesterday we went to BJ's as a family then I went back to the grocery store last night. I spent a total of $415 on needs, no junk food or snacks, just things we needed. We watched Hotel for Dogs last night as our family fun night. The movie was cute because it has an English Bulldog in it. Of course now Annie wants to take in strays and entertain all of them. It's not going to happen.
Ricky and Annie are gone to the archery tournament. Ricky hasn't been in several weeks. He has sold both of his bows, he ordered a new one for 2009 but it hasn't came in yet, so he had to borrow one from Matt to have one to shoot today. Boys and their toys, I just can't keep up. Now its just Brance and I so I think if I can get him out of my room where he is playing the Wii, I will take a nap. Beluah needs a bath so maybe Brance will do that tonight.
