Mickey here I come...

I booked a Disney trip today. They are offering free dining and you know I'm all about some free food. Michelle goes to Disney to ride the rides, I just go to eat. I'm really excited because my friend Mandi monograms clothes and just added some Mickey stuff to her website, pcoketfulofposies.shutterfly.com Annie and I will have a new shirt to wear and Annie will have a new hairbow. Mandi did a few shirts and a sweatshirt for Annie with really big hair bows that match the clothes and also have her name and initials monogrammed on them. Look at her website and let her know I told you to order some stuff, her prices are really good.

We are just hanging out in the living room like a real family. Brance just went to get his shower while Ricky, Annie and I are playing on laptops. I cooked supper and haven't cleaned the kitchen up yet. Both kids had ball games last night at the same time. It got a little too chilly for me before we left. On Thursday I will dress like it's snowing outside so that I am comfy and warm.

Work this week hasn't been very stressful. I am only driving the bus in the mornings this week. Michelle drives in the afternoons except the two days she has class, Anita got her license so she is driving on the two days that I was before. Yeah! Billy has been picking Brance up from school and bringing him to me at the preschool. Brance loves not riding the bus to the preschool everyday.

Ricky and I have started watching That 70's Show. I don't know why we never realized how funny this show was before now.

Tonight's American Idol, I'm not loving any of them but still enjoy watching it. I did get to tan today and now I need to take a bath because tanning lotion stinks!

Much better today...

I am so happy that I started the antibiotic yesterday, it kicked strep before streo kicked me! I ran a fever most of the night and woke up sometime around 4 am sweating like a drenched rat and felt so much better. I don't feel great but a lot better than yesterday.

Ricky and the kids have gone to Aaron's house to play for a while. Ricky wore his "I love my wife" t-shirt. I can't wait to hear what his friends had to say about it. Yesterday Ricky and Bubba (his brother) went to Perry and got a fun car for us to drive. Daddy traded for a 1966 Galaxie convertible several years ago and he is letting us have it for a little while. Ricky is like a kid in a candy store. He thinks he is going to sup (pronounced soup, I don't know how to spell it) up the motor but I've got news for him, I don't need a hot rod I just want to drive it around town. He likes to tinker on cars anyway so it was raining and that's what he has done all day. New fluids and a few other things. He actually asked me how early we can leave for the flea market tomorrow. He is up to something but I'm not sure what. I think he's got some kind of secret deal going with my dad about making this car into a hot rod and there aren't letting me in on it. As long as Ricky's happy, life is good!

Tonight I'm just sitting on the sofa with Beulah watching Shepard Smith on the Fox Report, what could be better than that? The house is dirty, I have laundry to do and I don't care. I'll work around here tomorrow. Ricky won't be home until much later so I can go to bed without a hassle also! This quiet stuff is a lot of fun but not the kind of life I would want to live all the time, I love my family even though they drive me crazy!

Tomorrow is opening day at ball season and it has all been canceled because of the weather, I am so excited.

I'm sick again...

Blah, blah, blah. How do I keep getting this crap. I have had strep twice and both times I didn't have a sore throat, well today I got the sore throat. How many antibiotics can my poor body handle?

I can't keep up with Michelle...

I got her started blogging and now I can't keep up with what she has going on. We had some kind of weekend. Brance and I went to BJ's Saturday while Annie went with Ricky to the bow shoot. I spent $200 and realized I didn't really buy anything but staple products. Where's the fun in that. Ricky and I swapped ball practice tonight. Annie has 6 pm softball so it's my night to go, Brance has 7:30 pm tomorrow and Ricky goes but he has some class at 4:30 pm tomorrow so we swapped nights. Mom will come over and stay with Annie while I take Brance. 7:30 - 9 pm is way to late for me, maybe I can just go to sleep in the car and Brance can wake me up when it is over. I bought a Wii and Wii Fit on Saturday. Brance and I love it. My legs are so sore I can't stand it. He is in there jumping around right now.

Brance woke me up at 1:15 am Sunday morning because he couldn't get any breaths. His air way was totally cut off. I immediately took him to the emergency room and they got him all fixed up within just a few minutes time. That's the scary thing about being severe asthmatic you just never know when it is going to get you. Sadly he is on a steroid now for five days. I called his asthma doctor and he doesn't want to see him until he is off the medicine in about two weeks. There goes our Spring Break.

It is really nice this evening without Annie yelling about something. I have time to play on the Wii and take a bath before they get home!

I have a minute...

I have to take Annie to softball at 7:30 pm, we skipped piano because she was a sleep on the sofa for about two hours and I sure wasn't about to wake her up. The kids are out of school today and tomorrow for weather make up so we came home about 1:30. Ricky and Brance drove the dump truck to Cumming to haul asphalt. Brance was ready to come home because that was too boring for him. Actually he thought he would get to stay and play with Dillon and I made him come home. Annie never gets to have company over or go to anyone's house so I didn't think it was fair that Brance got to play at Dillon's and Annie was home without a playmate.

Now the boys are gone to a 6 pm practice and I'll take Annie to meet Ricky in a few minutes. I normally bring Brance right back home but since the kids are out of school tomorrow I may stay for a few minutes depending on the weather, if its cold I'll come home.

I bought a Wii fit! Ricky and I are making a plan to start using it this weekend. I'm anxious to see how long that lasts. I bought it used from Heather, they bought it in January and don't really have the time to use it so she sold it to me for a really great deal. You know I'm always about a good deal. I sold one of Pigeon Forge vacations and still have one more if anyone is interested.

I'm back home

Well Beulah was happy to see me. I don't think anyone missed me but Beulah was waiting for me at the back door when I opened it to come inside. A dog always makes you feel good. The floors have all been swept and mopped and the kitchen is SPOTLESS! I will definitely not wait so long to go off the next time if this is what I get to come back to. I am so sleepy that I can barely hold my head up. I'm a little embarrassed to admit this but over the last several years Annie and I have watched a movie on ABC Family called Au Pair, them Au Pair 2, well tonight Au Pair 3 comes on and Annie has already went to bed so I can watch it without her extra commentary! YIPPY!

I really had a great weekend with the girls and hope that we can do it again very soon, maybe not out of town but a big slumber party. Doesn't that sound like a lot of fun? Heather straightened my hair and Robin made me wear a lot of eye make up, my Aunts Faye and Judy would be so proud, it was like playing beauty shop when we were kids. Very often in the mornings Heather will knot her hair up with bobby pins and I make fun of her because I don't think bobby pins are stylish so Friday night when we got ready to walk out the door I came out of the bedroom with about 10 pins in my hair all around my face, Heather laughed and told me I couldn't go out looking like that. I did take them out before we left our room.
Well its almost time for the movie to start so I need to get moving along.

I'm not sure of the time...

As the girls have kept me up wayyyyyyy past my bedtime now for two nights. There are seven of us that came to Gatlinburg on Friday night. We went to some karaoke bar last night and tonight definitely very unusual for me. We shopped today and ate really good food. We have had a great time but I'm ready to get home to my family.

My mom is home from the hospital, I brought her home yesterday afternoon before I left. Ricky told me to go ahead with my trip that he was capable of taking care of my mom. When I talked to Ricky this morning he was at Wal Mart buying her some cough medicine. Annie was hoping to spend the night with Elizabeth if she got her room clean. I didn't talk to them tonight so I'm not sure what she is doing.

I am ready for bed now.

I think I have a minute for myself

What a day today. Mom is really sick. She went to the doctor yesterday but was much worse today. I didn't like what the doctor told her or what he gave her so after calling his office earlier today I took her in at 2 pm and he immediately admitted her to the hospital. After getting her settled in a room I took her work excuse to her boss at the college, then to pick up the kids. We came home for just a few minutes before Ricky came home so Annie and I went back to the hospital to see mom. At that time her fever was 103 degrees. We stayed for just a few minutes then left for the grocery store, then to left Minnie out and feed her for mom. I will go back in the morning to let Minnie out then to the hospital to check on mom.

I was able to get in the tanning bed for 12 minutes. American Idol comes on in just a few minutes and I smell yucky so I need to take a bath at some point also. Ricky and Brance are gone to baseball and Annie is in the tub so I have one whole minute to blog! Well my minute is up so that's all for now.

Where did the weekend go?

Ricky left at 4 am Friday morning for a boys trip to Mississippi for an archery tournament. We expect he will be home sometime late tonight. Friday night the kids and I all went to bed about 9 pm, I slept so good! I could not get out of the bed at 9 am the next morning. That is like a first for me ever. As much as I love Ricky I would rather sleep by myself anyday. Beulah slept with the kids so I had the bed all to myself. Yesterday Brance got his haircut and we went over to Play It Again Sports to get Brance a catchers helmet. My children will not share a helmet with another child. Anyway Brance also had to have a cup! What do I know about buying a cup? The sales guy was really quick to help Brance, thank the Lord! We ate at Texas Roadhouse and then stopped at the 25 cent ice cream cone place for an ice cream.

Once we got home I took a nap. I could have slept all day! Anyway I did get up pretty late in the afternoon to do some laundry. I'm sure Ricky expects that we will have done something this weekend besides be couch potatoes. Brance and Beulah had been outside running around for a while, when Brance came in the front door and shut it some of the glass fell out! My $2500 door has two large cracks in it. One of the cracks has been there for a long time, I didn't even know there was a second crack. I got the glass cleaned up and duck tapped the cracks on both sides. When I drop Brance off at youth today I'm going to Home Depot to buy a cheap door to replace my front door for now. I will call the guy in Acworth that made my door and see if it is possible to repair the two cracked places. I don't want to take it down until I can take it to be repaired. It looks a little "you might be a redneck" right now. However I am pretty proud of myself for using duck tape to fix it!

I didn't change my clock last night so we were rushing to get to church this morning. I like to lay around and read for a little while before I get up and I didn't get to do that this morning. We do have the kitchen cleaned up and some laundry going. Ricky hasn't called to say he was on his way yet so I know I still have eight hours before he gets home.

Part 2 of Annie

Okay so I open the note and it says she is sick of me making her feel guilty and sick of me making her cry. She is going to move out and live with Ms. Darlene, if she is adopted I need to let her know and if I stop treating her like crap she will stop treating me like crap, DEAL! Where does she come up with stuff? I went into her room and made her get in the bed right that minute, within 5 minutes she was asleep. When I woke her up on Thursday morning she had a new attitude. She did admit she couldn't believe I outlasted her. Yesterday was a really nice day I took her to piano, Ricky took Brance to ball at 6 pm and I took Annie ate 7:30 pm as I was walking away from the field Ricky and Brance were walking up so I got Brance and we went home. Annie got up real easy this morning and so far we haven't had any power struggles. The kids and I are just laying on the sofas playing on the computers. We look like the geek squad.

We don't have any plans for the weekend! Ricky is doing his archery thing and Brance wants to go get a new catchers helmet tomorrow and both kids need a hair cut. We can eat popcorn for supper and cereal for breakfast. Next weekend I'm going out of town with some girls so Ricky will get to be the single parent for an entire weekend.

Punishing Annie only punishes me!

Thank you Lord that Annie isn't a twin! Just as we were getting ready to leave the preschool I had an situation to take care of that involved a couple of children. I asked Annie to sit on the bench and wait for me to take care of it. In the lobby is my portable clothing rack that I had planned to take home today. Annie decides to use it like a skateboard and is rolling it all over the place. She did this the entire 10 minutes although I had asked her 1 million times to stop. Once we got ready to get in the car, she had broken one side of so now it won't raise up. So I told her she would have to come home and go to her room and we wouldn't go to church tonight, she loves church. She came downstairs long enough to unload the dishwasher and eat something. She continues to tell me that this is the worst day of her entire life. I'm not sure how long this will continue as she wears me out! Have no fear I can last longer than she can! She hasn't brought God or Jesus into it yet like she normally does. She tells me how unhappy I'm making Jesus because she is upset and God is going to punish me. Everybody needs a child just like her. When I finish here I'm taking a bath to get away from her. We have a rule at our house that if the bathroom door is shut, you may not knock on it or talk through it, you may not lie down and look under it or stick your fingers under the door. If the door is shut you must wait in another room until the person comes out. It works really well. Sadly for me sometimes when I go into Annies room to talk to her she goes into the bathroom so I have to wait. I'm telling you I have to get up real early to stay ahead of her.

I booked a condo for my girlfriends next weekend in Gatlinburg. I am so excited to go away for the weekend.

Ricky took Brance to Chase's game, Ricky's nephew. Chase is in 10th grade and tonight he was starting pitching for the varsity baseball game. I just heard Annie paper airplane a note downstairs to me, she just said I know you are talking about me and I don't care I can still call the cops and tell them that you are treating me like crap and I want you arrested. Sassy pants is getting a spanking!

No snow in Dahloenga

That's the way I like it! We did get about 30 minutes of blizzard like snow and then it went away. It doesn't mean anything for us if school is out because I still have to go to work. I am about to watch Celebrity Apprentice, I think I could really get into this because Donald Trump is just cool as can be.

Ricky went to the archery tournament today and is planning to go to Mississippi on Friday with his boyfriends. That works for me. Brance and Annie were so sweet today, they played on their laptops and let me take a nap. I haven't taken a Sunday nap in months. I did get my sheets washed yesterday and a few loads of the kids clothes but not really enough o accomplish anything. I did go to the grocery store tonight so at least we can eat a decent dinner before we head out to the ball field four nights this week. The kids are asleep, Ricky and Beulah are both asleep on the sofa so I am enjoying my life right now.

When I came in tonight you could see the mountains covered in snow, the view is always beautiful but tonight was breathtaking.

I don't have anything else to say because I am trying to watch this show.
